The HeliX2-COMExpress module distills the APM HeliX 2 — a quad-core 64bit ARMv8 system-on-a-chip with integrated 10 Gigabit-Ethernet, Serial-ATA and PCI-Express — into a simple plug & play product for embedded computing.
Featuring up to four 2GHz 64bit cores, large caches and high-speed connectivity, the HeliX 2 is an excellent choice for networking, storage and industrial control. With two SO-DIMM slots, this COMExpress server-on-module can be configured with up to 32GB of ECC-enabled memory to accomodate mission-critical data-hungry applications.

A customized baseboard complements the COMExpress module to form a complete evaluation platform and enables a quick-start for developers adopting the HeliX 2 processor solution:
• One 10-Gigabit Ethernet and four Gigabit Ethernet network interfaces
• PCI Express® Gen 3 expansion
• SATA 3 for enterprise-grade mass storage connectivity
• USB 2.0 for connecting standard peripherals
• Slot for an ‘intelligent HMI module’ with HDMI® and dual-channel LVDS for visual computing
• Embedded interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, SD, GPIO) for quick prototyping

The HeliX2-COMExpress board is a zero-risk path to adopting the next generation of embedded processing performance and to upgrade to higher data-rate connectivity: it's so refined, that it has become a reference design for the HeliX 2 processor family.

State-of-the-art security for your assets
The HeliX2-COMExpress module features the same secure element found on our other system-on-module products. Security and asset protection using an EAL4+ certified security module ensure that you will not have to sacrifice security for throughput.
A GlobalPlatform 2.2.1 compliant JavaCard environment provides a trusted foundation for security applications including digital asset protection, secure key-storage and remote device authentication.
