Who we are

Theobroma Systems Design und Consulting GmbH ("Theobroma Systems GmbH") is a wholly owned subsidiary of Theobroma Systems Limited ("Theobroma Systems Ltd", a privately held company by shares, which is registered in England and Wales, no. 05808012). All engineering and support activities are carried out by Theobroma Systems' engineering office based in Vienna.
Theobroma Systems is a member of ARGE proEthik.

Where we are

Corporate History

2005—Theobroma Systems Ltd founded
We start to provide Java Virtual Machine solutions, compiler and embedded runtime solutions to customers world-wide.

2006—Theobroma Systems Design und Consulting GmbH founded
We meet the requirements of the growing engineering and R&D departments in Austria and expand the solutions and services portfolio of our Vienna Engineering Office.

2007—Entrance to market with first-generation technologies and IP products
We win the contract to develop and support the Lattice Mico32 uCLinux port, marking the first step to our growing portfolio of design alliances. We develop our software architecture for high-assurance applications, the Criollo hypervisor and the first generation of our secure function controller.

2008—Secure modules become available for end-customers
We win a design contract for a high-assurance application in the e-Health market, marking the first mass product featuring Criollo, our secure module and our secure function controller
